How to configure VmWare VCSA 6.7 to send logs to CQ Server IP Address on port 5140 UDP
The vCenter Server log events can be sent to a remote syslog server to conduct an analysis of the logs, and can be configured to send log files to a vCenter Server rather than storing them to a local disk. The recommended maximum numbers of supported hosts to collect logs from is 30.

-
From the Protocol drop-down menu, select the UDP protocol
-
In Port text box, enter port number 5140 to use for communication with destination host
-
Click Save
-
Verify that remote syslog server is receiving messages
-
